Ye and Ty Dolla Sign Reach Settlement with Donna Summer Estate in 'Vultures 1' Copyright Dispute

Summer’s widow, Bruce Sudano, sued in February.

Longtime collaborators Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and Ty Dolla have settled a copyright dispute with Donna Summer's estate over the alleged use of the singer’s 1977 hit “I Feel Love.” According to legal documents obtained by People, the track “Good (Don’t Die)” from Ye and Ty’s 2024 album Vultures 1, which features a sample of the disco classic, will be removed from circulation and wiped off all streaming platforms. Summer’s widow, Bruce Sudano, filed a lawsuit in February, accusing Ye of having “shamelessly used instantly recognizable portions” of the song despite having been “explicitly denied” permission to do so.
