Yale Entertainment, Producer Of ‘Becky’ Films & ‘The Kill Room,’ Files For Bankruptcy
Indie producer Yale Entertainment has filed for bankruptcy, Deadline has learned.
Levine founded Yale Entertainment in 2010, with an eye toward producing high-quality, filmmaker-driven features at conservative budgets, maximizing the possibility for creative and commercial success. The company is best known for its work on the cult hit action thriller Becky, starring Lulu Wilson, and sequel The Wrath of Becky, along with titles like The Kill Room, starring Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson; Brittany Snow’s SXSW prize-winning directorial debut Parachute; and the Tribeca-premiering David Duchovny starrer Reverse the Curse, to name just a few. Last year, the company partnered with Joe Swanberg to produce a slate of five new horror films, including Helldorado, Kenneled, Yellow Eyes, Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round, and Untitled Jae Matthews Project, as we were first to report.
