Xolo Maridueña is set to reprise his Blue Beetle role in an animated series from DC Studios.
The Cobra Kai actor recently teased what it means to continue telling the story of Jaime Reyes, the DC Comics superhero he played in the 2023 film. The 2023 Blue Beetle film centers on Jaime Reyes, a recent college graduate who returns home to figure out what he wants to do with his life. The film also starred Adriana Barraza, Damián Alcázar, Raoul Max Trujillo, Belissa Escobedo, Susan Sarandon, and George Lopez.
