Six years after making it all the way to The X Factor final, where she lost to eventual champion Dalton Harris, singer Scarlett Lee thought she'd give American Idol a try
Six years after finishing as runner-up in Simon Cowell's UK singing competition, which saw Dalton Harris showered with confetti at the time, 26-year-old Scarlett looked a different person while covering 'Clown' by Emeli Sandé infront of judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan recently. Feeding back after the contestant's performance Stateside, Teenage Dream singer Katy, 39, claimed she thought they were "being pranked" after initially hearing of Scarlett's song choice. in the aftermath: "Two days after the fire happened, I had an operation on my eye [removing burning embers after helping Benjamin's family get to safety].
