Wynne Evans fights back tears as he says Strictly scandal 'left me suicidal'


Wynne Evans became emotional as he spoke about the "relentless" Strictly Come Dancing scandal that left him suicidal, during an appearance on Wednesday's This Morning

It comes amid a tumultuous few months for the Welsh opera singer, 53, after he recently revealed he had been dropped by the BBC, following an apology saying that he used "inappropriate language" during the launch of the Strictly Come Dancing tour. Wynne Evans fought back tears as he spoke about his Strictly Come Dancing scandal on Wednesday's This Morning (Image: ITV) He continued: "I was at my lowest, I wanted to end my life. In a statement made in January, he announced: "I've agreed with the BBC that I'll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing."
