Writers Guild Announces 2025 WGA Awards New York Ceremony Host and Presenters
Roy Wood Jr has been announced as the host of the Writers Guild Awards in New York.
Comedian Roy Wood Jr. will host the 77th Annual Writers Guild Awards ‘ East Coast segment, at New York’s Edison Ballroom on Saturday, Feb. 15, the org announced Thursday. Wood is currently the host of CNN’s satire news program “Have I Got News for You” and previously starred in the WGA Award-nominated series “Command Z.” “It’s an honor to return to host this celebration of the people who truly are the red blood cells of this industry,” said Wood in a statement. Kathy McGee will be presented with the Richard B. Jablow Award for Devoted Service to the Guild by Penelope Koechl.
