World-famous singer dead - as devastated friends say 'he was taken too soon'

Australian opera singer, Steve Davislim who was born in Malaysia, has tragically passed away after a prolonged illness, his management said in an emotional statement

Throughout his illustrious career as an opera singer, he collaborated with some of Australia's most esteemed conductors, including Simone Young and Sir Charles Mackerras. Opera Australia shared their grief on social media, stating: "We today learned the sad news that celebrated Australian tenor Steve Davislim has passed. Steve had a fantastic international career, largely in Europe's opera houses and concert halls, performing with many of the world's greatest conductors.
