A woman has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the rigorous audition process for the 2024 season of Married at First Sight Australia.
Social media star @juliasingsmyths2, who almost made her television debut as one of the brides, spoke about her wild experience applying for the hit Channel Nine show in a TikTok video. According to Julia, the application she filled out one February night was extensive, peppered with a plethora of questions about STIs and criminal background checks. Applicants were required to undergo comprehensive police checks, citizenship tests and a full medical exam to ensure they were both mentally and physically fit for the show.
