Wolverine's classic brown and tan costume cost a whopping $100,000 to make, Deadpool and Wolverine editors reveal
Wolverine's classic brown costume cost $100,000, Deadpool & Wolverine editors Dean Zimmerman and Shane Reid recently revealed.
Deadpool & Wolverine eviscerated the R-rated movie record, raking in $205 million in its opening weekend and amassing over $1.3 billion at the global box office as of this writing — which is outstanding news because we’re big fans of the characters and it’s proof that people are still willing to go to movie theaters in a post-Covid world — but because Disney will be able to pay the costume designers as well. “One of our storyboard artists was a huge comic book fan and he gave us a list of, like, ten of [the Wolverine variants],” Zimmerman added. Or does that seem like a reasonable amount for making one of Logan’s most beloved outfits come to life with comic book accuracy in a big movie production?
