Winona Ryder Says Some People Were ‘Blatantly Sexually Harassing Me’ as a Young Actor; She Told Jenna Ortega Stories And Thought: ‘That’s F*cked Up’

Winona Ryder says Harvey Weinstein did not like her and blacklisted her from his movies.

Winona Ryder said in a new interview with Esquire magazine that she felt blacklisted by Miramax in “the late 1990s and early 2000s” due to “various reasons,” one of which was a meeting with the company’s co-founder Harvey Weinstein that allegedly angered him. Ryder had already worked on a Miramax movie at that point in her career, 1993’s “The House of the Spirits,” and remembered Weinstein pounding on her trailer door during production. Head over to Esquire’s website to read Ryder’s cover story in its entirety.
