Wimbledon host Clare Balding forced to apologise after co-presenter’s four-letter blunder on live TV

Clare Balding was forced to apologise to BBC viewers over her Wimbledon co-presenter's language, after a four-letter blunder live on air left her looking flustered

Clare Balding was left flustered by her Wimbledon co-presenter John McEnroe over a four-letter blunder that forced her to apologise live on air. The BBC sports presenter heads up the broadcaster's coverage of The Championships, but has sometimes had a tough job keeping control of her fellow commentators. During last year's tournament, Clare was joined by Wimbledon regular and former tennis ace John, known for his outspoken views, and Tracy Austin as they covered Ons Jabeur and Elena Rybakina's quarter-final.
