William Shatner accepts the Visual Effects Society's Award for Creative Excellence at the 22nd Annual VES Awards


William Shatner celebrated an iconic career at the 22nd Annual Visual Effects Society Awards on Wednesday.

The actor - who recently opened up about his financial woes after Star Trek was canceled - was also seen posing on the red carpet with Katee Sackhoff and Jay Pharoah. The award is handed out for, 'significant and lasting contributions to the art and science of the visual effects industry by uniquely and consistently creating compelling and creative imagery in service to story.' He'll star alongside Priestley, and Dan Aykroyd, following three Toronto Maple Leafs fans who hatch a plan to steal the Stanley Cup to reverse their team's decades-long bad luck.
