William H. Macy Settles $600K Lawsuit from Neighbor Who Claimed He ‘Knowingly’ Destroyed His Trees

'Shameless' star William H. Macy was first sued by his neighbor in April 2023, over a year after the alleged incident occurred in December 2021

Brown had accused the Shameless star, 74, of “knowingly and intentionally” instructing a team of landscapers to destroy and remove “several healthy, decades-old mature pine trees and other vegetation" from his property. As stated in the filing made to the Superior Court of Los Angeles, the settlement is “conditional” based upon the “satisfactory completion of specified terms” that are not listed in the document.
