William H. Macy Joins Paramount’s ‘The Running Man’
Paramount's 'The Running Man' movie has tapped William H. Macy for a role alongside Glen Powell, Deadline has learned.
He joins an ensemble led by Glen Powell, which will also include Josh Brolin, Karl Glusman, Katy O’Brian, Daniel Ezra, Lee Pace, Jayme Lawson, Michael Cera and Emilia Jones. An Oscar nominee and two-time Emmy winner, Macy is coming off a role in 20th’s Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, directed by Wes Ball, which grossed nearly $400 million worldwide. Also recently appearing in the second season of Fox’s crime anthology Accused, the actor’s upcoming slate includes the drama Train Dreams from Jockey’s Clint Bentley, among other projects.
