Will Smith reveals how his Bad Boys: Ride or Die co-star Vanessa Hudgens' pregnancy impacted production on the action sequel

The new sequel also brings back Vanessa Hudgens' Kelly, a weapons expert who made her franchise debut in 2020's Bad Boys For Life Filming originally began in April 2023, though production was suspended in July when the actors union SAG-AFTRA went on strike Shooting resumed after the strike, though when they came back, Hudgens, 35, was expecting her first child, with Smith, 55, telling ET that it lead to a filming shift.
