Producer Will Packer, 'The Color Purple' star Fantasia Barrino and rapper MC Lyte are among the notables to be feted at the 2nd annual HBCU Honors.
HBCUs gave me the tools to succeed, and it’s an honor to stand on that stage and celebrate the incredible people who are making history today. His most recent effort is the Peacock limited series “Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist,” starring Kevin Hart, Don Cheadle, Samuel L. Jackson and Taraji P. Henson. “Our brands are proud to support initiatives that amplify the impact and importance of HBCUs,” said Eric Austin, VP of marketing and media innovation for Procter & Gamble.
