Will Ferrell Says Dressing Up as a Woman on ‘SNL’ for Laughs Is ‘Something I Wouldn’t Choose to Do Now’
Will Ferrell says doing drag for comedy sketches is not something he would do now.
Ferrell told The Times that he’s certain there’s “a fair amount” of sketches from his “SNL” tenure “where you’d lament the choice.” He later quipped: “I mean, in a way, the cast — you’re kind of given this assignment. “Yeah, he’s not culpable at all,” Steele playfully responded before saying on a more serious note: “I wrote Monica Lewinsky stuff I wasn’t proud of. “Harper emailed a lot of her close friends with the headline: ‘Here’s a Weird One,'” Ferrell told Variety at Sundance earlier this year.
