Will Ferrell hilariously campaigns to be named People's Sexiest Man Alive 2024: 'You guys never have comedians'

The 56-year-old comedy icon proudly pitched the idea to People magazine at the Despicable Me 4 premiere in New York City on Sunday.

The official logline for the fourth installment of the hit animated film franchise reads: 'Gru welcomes a new member to the family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad.' The esteemed list of sexiest men include Brad Pitt, Paul Rudd, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, George Clooney, and most recently Patrick Dempsey (pictured) Ferrell will voice act as Maxime Le Mal, Kristen Wiig as Gru's wife Lucy, Joey King as Poppy and Miranda Cosgrove as Margo.
