Eric Dane announced that he’s been diagnosed with ALS, which has led fans to wonder if he will reprise his role of Cal Jacobs in season 3 of HBO’s Euphoria.
He is set to start filming just four days after he publicly announced his ALS diagnosis, People confirmed on April 10, 2025. Cal was arrested in the season 2 finale after his son, Nate (played by Jacob Elordi), turned him in to the police for his past crimes. Eric also expressed hope that Cal and Nate can improve their relationship following the tense argument in upcoming episodes.
