While recalling a trip to visit Poehler’s Massachusetts hometown, Arnett noted that her dad would proudly tell strangers about the Saturday Night Live alum’s career. The Murderville star first encountered the Saturday Night Live alum in 1996, when he saw her perform with her improv comedy group, Upright Citizens Brigade.
