Wicked fans fume after behind-the-scenes footage from Ariana Grande movie teases surprise cameo
A two-part movie adaptation of the hit musical Wicked is set to be released later this year and fans think they have spotted a major star set to make a cameo appearance
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are leading the cast as Galinda Upland and Elphaba Thropp names that fans will recognise as the iconic duo, Glinda the Good and The Wicked Witch of the West from the beloved Oz tales. However, a featurette shared to YouTube which shows behind-the-scenes moments on the film's set has given fans a glimpse at a potential major cameo that was previously undisclosed, reports Wales Online. Eagle-eyed devotees noticed Broadway sensation Kristin Chenoweth, who earned her stripes (and a Tony Award nomination) playing Glinda on stage, in the midst of the clip in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment as an Oz native.
