Fans have noticed the fictional band in the movie, August Moon, sounds eerily similar to One Direction - and it's because their music is produced by the same people.
The Idea Of You premiered on Amazon Prime Video on Thursday with fans quick to point out the movie's fictional boyband bore a striking resemblance to X Factor heartthrobs One Direction. The movie, based on the 2017 book of the same name, stars Anne Hathaway, 41, in a steamy age-gap relationship, with her character Solène sparking up a romance with boyband member Hayes Campbell, sixteen years her junior, played by Nicholas Galitzine, 29. Based on Robinne Lee's 2017 book, Anne stars as 40-year-old divorced mom Solène, who takes her teen daughter (Ella Rubin) to Coachella at the suggestion of her ex-husband (Reid Scott).
