Why Taylor Swift did not attend the Met Gala... and it does NOT have to do with 'foe' Kim Kardashian
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce did not drop by Monday's Met Gala event in NYC. And it was not because Taylor's years-long 'enemy' Kim Kardashian was at the splashy event.
Even bombshells like Sydney Sweeney and Dua Lipa failed to stand-out as they made the trek up the museum's iconic staircase in forgettable gowns. Despite knowing the event falls on the first Monday of May, many celebrities were unable to fit fashion's biggest night into their schedules or simply not interested in coming. While speaking about the Met Gala, the Golden Globe winner continued: 'I care a lot about it and I want to try to honor the work of the curators and everybody who sort of inspired this moment for those of us who get to attend.'
