The couple, who got engaged in December 2024, revealed during their Thursday, March 20 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that Gomez was so “grumpy” that she almost skipped meeting Blanco on the day he planned to pop the question. The record producer, 36, took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, December 18, to relive his proposal to actress and singer Selena Gomez. The producer pointed out that there’s typically a lot of lying to a loved one involved before getting down on one knee — something he found difficult at the time.
