Why Jon Watts Canceled a 'Wolfs' Sequel With Brad Pitt and George Clooney

Director Jon Watts was ready to do a sequel to George Clooney and Brad Pitt’s film ‘Wolfs’ but recently changed his mind

The Academy Award-winning actors first graced the big screen together in 2001’s remake of Ocean’s Eleven, which also stars Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, Bernie Mac and more. George, 63, and wife Amal Clooney posed on the red carpet with Pitt, 60, and his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, on Sunday, September 1. “When George, Brad and Jon approached us with the idea for Wolfs, it was an easy call — a crackling, fun movie starring two Oscar winners who everyone knows are iconic together,” Apple Original Films’ head of features said in October.
