Actress Amy Carlson revealed why she decided to leave Blue Bloods and how she really felt about the gruesome end for her popular character, Linda Reagan.

I was between a rock and a hard place, because the simple fact of the matter was that the actress decided not to renew her contract,” he said in 2018, per TV Line. “If someone had said they were surprised and they didn’t know I was leaving I would just respond to them and say it’s standard to have conversations with actors whose contracts are up prior to the season ending,” she explained.
