Whoopi Goldberg To Join ‘The Weekend View’ For The First Time Since Show’s Premiere
Whoopi Goldberg is set to join The Weekend View for the first time since the spinoff premiered.
The weekend edition of The View features the show’s Friday panel, which doesn’t include Goldberg. Goldberg will join regular Weekend View co-hosts Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin. Karin Gilford, senior vice president of Digital Media, ABC News Group and Disney Entertainment Networks, said the weekend version of The View “combines the strength of both to create seamless, blended programming for our viewers.”
