Whoopi Goldberg Says ‘Sister Act 3’ Script Is Done, but ‘It Only Matters if Disney Wants to Do It’
At the Oscars red carpet, Whoopi Goldberg confirmed that while the "Sister Act 3" script is done, it only matters if Disney wants to do the film.
As Whoopi Goldberg hit the Oscars red carpet 34 years after she won best supporting actress for “Ghost,” she confirmed that she has seen a finished script for “ Sister Act 3.” “We’re hoping it’ll happen sometime this year,” Goldberg told Variety ‘s Marc Malkin at the Oscars red carpet in Hollywood earlier Sunday. She returned for the sequel, “Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit,” reprising her role as a former lounge singer in the witness protection program who is forced to hide out in a California convent.
