Whoopi Goldberg questioned The View producer Brian Teta as to why they must continue reading Donald Trump's statement about the 2020 election.
During the ABC talk show’s live broadcast on Wednesday, October 2, Goldberg asked why they have to continue reading Trump’s legal notes despite having proof that discredits the statement. As one of the show’s blocks was ending, someone off camera signaled to Goldberg that Sunny Hostin had to read a legal note from Trump’s camp. “I now have a legal note,” Hostin said before reading, “Donald Trump has denied any wrongdoing related to the 2020 election.”
