It was revealed during season 2 of Fire Country that Mickey’s chaotic upbringing led her to pursue a career in law enforcement. In addition to seeing Mickey’s work with local crime, fans will also get to see insight into her relationship with her estranged father, who also runs an illegal marijuana business. “We are focused on mass-appeal franchises,” CBS President and CEO George Cheeks said in June 2023, hinting at the show getting a spinoff.
