Sunrise often welcomes guests of all shapes, sizes and genus every morning, but viewers were left stunned when one furry guest crashed the set on Wednesday.
In a blink and you'll miss it moment, the tan dog casually wandered across the studio behind fill-in anchors Monique Wright and Michael Usher at 6.41am. It's not the only awkward moment to happen live on Sunrise in recent months, as one popular reporter was left red-faced in December after an encounter with a teacher. Katie had just finished talking to a student at St John Paul II Catholic College in Schofields about their HSC results when she tapped the shoulder of a female nearby.
