Who Is the Next Bachelor? ABC Reveals Season 29’s Leading Man

Grant Ellis appeared on Jenn Tran’s season of ‘The Bachelorette.’

Ellis, 30, a former professional basketball player from Houston, Texas, will have his own chance to find love when he stars as the lead in season 29 of The Bachelor, airing in 2025. “A self-proclaimed mama’s boy, Grant’s infectious smile and unwavering positivity instantly brighten every room he enters,” ABC said in a press release on Monday. “The former pro basketball player is passionate about his career as a day trader, but when he’s not immersed in the fast-paced world of finance, you can find him cheering on the Lakers, hitting strikes at the bowling alley, or belting out tunes at karaoke nights.”
