Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts' wife, Brianna Hammonds, will be cheering him on during the 2024 World Series. Inside his marriage to the philanthropist.
She cofounded the 50/50 Foundation with her husband in 2021, “with the goal of providing youth in their community with the support needed for success both on and off the field — specifically with resources in the realms of physical activity, nutrition, mental health, and financial literacy,” according to their website. The pair met while they were middle schoolers in Nashville, when Mookie — full name Markus Lynn Betts — was in eighth grade and Brianna was a seventh grader. The six-time All-Star staged a dinner around an actual honor he received from baseball icon CC Sabathia ‘s charitable foundation, where the couple were joined by 40 loved ones.
