Jennifer Lopez seemingly tipped off fans that she wasn’t busy prepping for the event earlier on May 5, when she shared a selfie in workout gear while at home in Los Angeles. The night before the event, Selena shared an Instagram post showing a casual dinner party she had at home in Los Angeles with fiancé Benny Blanco and several friends. Some fans of Taylor Swift hoped she’d break cover and make her first public appearance since the 2025 Super Bowl in February, but the pop superstar didn’t attend the Met Gala.
