As the Ratcliffs gather at breakfast, matriarch Victoria (Parker Posey) is caught in an awkward exchange with Kate, who steps over and reveals that they've met before at a mutual friend's baby shower. Across the restaurant, Rick (Walton Goggins) is left furious to learn his younger girlfriend Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) has booked him in for a stress management session. Reluctantly attending his session, Rick ends up opening up about his traumatic childhood, revealing his mother was a drug addict who overdosed when he was 10 while his father was murdered before he was born.
