White Lotus fans buzzing after Oscars account begins following show's star on Instagram
X account BuzzingPop notified fans of the singer's newest fan on Monday, posting to the platform: 'The Academy has followed LISA on Instagram.'
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is now officially following Lisa on the platform - and her loyal fans were of course excited to learn the news. Lisa - real name Lalisa Manobal - is a member of the wildly successful K-pop group Blackpink, but has now expanded her wings into Hollywood with a role on the latest season of The White Lotus. 'Doja Cat, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, LISA of Blackpink, Queen Latifah and RAYE will participate in showstopping performances celebrating the filmmaking community and some of its legends,' a press release announced.
