The new hit Netflix series, One Day, has been leaving viewers swooning - and now, the dreamy European destinations featured throughout the 20-year love story between two friends are revealed
Other scenes shot within the city include Old Suffolk Punch, a pub in Hammersmith that doubles up as Loco Caliente, the fictional Mexican restaurant where Emma works, and the Fire nightclub where Dexter parties, in Vauxhall. The pair meet at Gare du Nord, before wandering around the French capital, passing by Rue Pierre-Semard and Passerelle Emmanuelle-Riva, an iron bridge that stretches across Canal St Martin. Lead director Molly Manners knew that One Day's Rome in Episode 2 needed to feel colourful and vibrant and to contrast Emma's lacklustre drama experience in Wolverhampton.
