As reports swirl that ITV is in talks to resurrect Benidorm, we take a look back at what some of the sitcom's most beloved stars have been up to since the show came to an end
Swapping the sun and shenanigans of Benidorm for Albert Square, Danny made waves with his switch to BBC One's iconic soap EastEnders, stepping into the shoes of the dashing Keanu Taylor, reports the Mirror. His most notable storyline involved an illicit affair with Sharon Mitchell (played by Letitia Dean) while simultaneously dating her step-daughter Louise (portrayed by Tilly Keeper), eventually fathering a child with both women. Since bidding a fond farewell to the beloved sitcom, he's showcased his acting chops as Spearman in the BBC Two's gripping Cold War drama Summer of Rockets and later brought laughs as the lovable funeral director George Shuttleworth on Coronation Street in 2020 – quickly becoming an essential fixture of the soap.
