Where Grange Hill's stars are 26 years later – Death In Paradise role to tragic deaths


As it's announced that Mr Robson star, Stuart Organ, has sadly died, OK! takes a look at what happened to Grange Hill's other most memorable characters, from Tucker to Gonch

The children's BBC drama set in a fictional north London school covered topics like teenage motherhood, suicide, homosexuality, racism, poverty, AIDS, cancer, knife crime and drug addiction. Mark popped up in EastEnders as Gary Rawlings (Image: BBC) Rarely seen without a football, Benny – played by Terry Sue-Patt – was Tucker Jenkins' sidekick, the first boy to enter the school gates in the first episode of Grange Hill, and appeared from 1978 to 1982.
