But despite the drama, the Contest went ahead on Saturday night in Malmo and reigning champion Loreen handed over the trophy to a new winner. Speaking after their win, Nemo who is the first non-binary artist to triumph at the contest said: "I'm mostly just really grateful for this experience and all the friends I've made along the way.
