Where are the winners of BBC's Race Across The World now? From quitting jobs to YouTube star

Race Across The World is back, bringing more adventures and tactical planning as teams travel from Japan to Indonesia, but where are the stars now who won the first three series?

Viewers have been hooked on the BAFTA-winning series since it launched in 2019, as the teams find innovative ways to reach their different destinations in the hope of scooping up the winning cash prize. Uncle and nephew duo Emon and Jamiul won the £20,000 cash prize in 2020 while former PE teachers Elaine and Tony became the first-ever winners of the BBC series. Emon Choudhury has continued his charity work and in 2022 ran a marathon while fasting for Ramadan which saw him raise a whopping £34,000 for an orphanage in Bangladesh that his father had founded.
