The ITV Brits abroad sitcom - which followed a group of holidaymakers in the Spanish resort and their hilarious escapades - came to an end in May 2018 after 11 years.
The actress, 87, continued with her career on screen and stage after Benidorm ended, with her most notable roles including Iris in Channel 4's Humans and Speedy Sue in BBC One's Doctors. The dark comedy, which has since ended, featured appearances from the likes of Sheridan Smith, Sir Derek Jacobi, Alison Steadman, the late Helen McCrory, and Keeley Hawes. He also bagged his own show on Channel 4 in 2021 called Johnny Vegas: Carry on Glamping, where he joined his assistant Bev and a gang of vintage bus enthusiasts to create the country's coolest site out of old, repurposed vehicles.
