Where are The Apprentice winners now? From dwindling profits to constructive dismissals and major anxiety - a look at the least successful contestants who ditched Lord Sugar's hefty salaries to go solo

Since 2005, BBC viewers have watched 18 contestants win The Apprentice and go into business with Lord Sugar.

A handful have gone on to build business empires that are bringing in the money, including Tom Pellereau, Ricky Martin, Mark Wright, Sara Lynn, Sian Gabbidon and Carina Lepore. In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Harpreet insisted that Apprentice boss Lord Sugar had 'no problem' with her business of five years being jointly run by a member of her family and BBC producers built up the tension as 'a bit of fun TV editing.' Their wedding guests included the show's first winner, Tim, as well as Harpreet and Akshay's fellow 2022 contestants Kathryn Louise Burn, Brittany Carter, Akeem Bundu-Kamara and Nick Showering.
