What to Know About ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff With Beth and Rip: Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser’s New Show
Even though Yellowstone came to an end after five seasons, the characters of Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler are getting their own spinoff. Inside the new series.
Deadline reported in August 2024 that negotiations were underway with Kelly and Cole to star in the possible sixth season of Yellowstone, although the show is now going to be a spinoff of the flagship series. The Oscar winner took a significant time away to direct and star in Horizon: An American Saga parts 1 and 2, and he told fans in a June 20, 2024, Instagram post that he wasn’t going to be returning to Yellowstone. It was later revealed that John was murdered, and his suicide was staged by a team of assassins hired by Market Equities heavy hitter Sarah Atwood.
