What the cast of Round The Twist look like now... as musical based on the classic Aussie kids show premieres
Cast members from the beloved 90s Aussie show Round the Twist have reunited for the world premiere musical adaptation of the series. How many of them do you recognise?
The celebrated fantasy show took home swags of plaudits during its two separate runs - from 1990 - 1992 and from 2000 - 2001 - includiing BAFTA nominations and a Logie for Most Outstanding Children's Program on Australian Television. In a survey of adults who grew up watching Australian-made children's television, the beloved show won out against other classics such as Play School, Bananas in Pyjamas and Blinky Bill. The university's research team examined 542 survey responses and conducted 21 in-depth interviews with adults who were raised on Australian television to gauge the enduring influence of children's TV.
