“I’ve had my time with true crime. I enjoyed it more before I had children.”
Late Night with Seth Meyers returned from a two-week hiatus on Monday, but the guy has been keeping plenty busy outside of Studio 8G. “I had always kind of thought it was a mistake to start a podcast while I was doing a late-night talk show because of the heavy lift,” said Meyers when we spoke over the phone earlier this week. The second thing to consider is how those podcasts plug into Meyers’s life in similar ways, in that they provide opportunities to spend more consistent time with people he misses.
