Studios tend to save their smaller budget films — ones that, say, might not make it to awards season — for the colder months, when the holidays are over, people are tired and staying in sounds much more appealing than shivering in a dark theater. Logline: Julia Stiles’ directorial debut follows a woman (Isabelle Fuhrman) searching for a spark finds a whirlwind night of romance with a man (Mena Massoud) only to discover he is terminally ill. As a result, she commits to helping him spend his last days living life to the fullest. Stuck in a boring “desk” assignment while pining for the love of spunky club manager Anata (Lucy Liu), Danny is thrilled when The Company pulls him back in the field — but only to train Gen Z newcomer Wihlborg (Cooper Hoffman), a prodigy assassin with a bad attitude.
