What Meghan Markle did to the Queen in her final years is unforgivable, says royal expert

Royal historian and biographer Hugo Vickers has claimed that Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, caused an “unforgivable” amount of stress for the late Queen in her last years

Meghan Markle’s impact on the Royal Family caused as big a crisis as Princess Diana’s death or the abdication of King Edward VIII in 1936, historian and biographer Hugo Vickers has claimed. It was during those final years that Meghan and Harry decided to make a new life in America and an agreement was made that the couple could leave but not have the trappings that came with being a member of the Royal Family. After a year in the US, Harry’s honorary military titles were formally removed and the couple were relieved as President and Vice-President of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust.
