The Kernaghans' were guest performers for the fundraiser event, which was held at the Bellgio Casino on Saturday, in a tribute to Robert's late father Steve Irwin. Steve was killed when he was barbed by a stingray on September 4, 2006, at Batt Reef near Port Douglas in far north Queensland, with the news sending shockwaves across Australia and around the world. Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, a Channel 10 spokesperson vehemently denied reports that suggested Irwin's tenure at the network might be ending.
