The WGA East announced the results of its 2024 council election on Thursday
The WGA East announced the results of the 2024 Council election on Thursday, adding several new members to the group. Monica Lee Bellais, Larry J Cohen, Don P. Hooper, Victoria Pollack, Celine Robinson and Suzanne Weber were elected to serve on the Council representing Film/TV/Streaming members.Susan Rinkunas and Jessica Schulberg were elected to serve on the Council representing Online Media members.Justin DiLauro, Gail Lee and Phil Pilato were elected to serve on the Council representing Broadcast/Cable/Streaming News members. According to the WGAE, there was a mixed bag of voter turnout, including 14.23% for the Film/TV/Streaming sector and just 6.3% for online media.
